Our Commitment to Our Students, Our School, and Our Future

At Oakes Public School, we proudly embrace our mission of achieving excellence by educating all students for tomorrow’s world. As we celebrated the 100th birthday of our school last year, we are dedicated to ensuring our school is equipped to serve students into the next century.

Over the past year, district leaders have conducted a comprehensive facility and grounds assessment, an educational adequacy assessment, a demographic analysis, and listened to what residents, students, and staff want and expect from their schools. Based on this feedback, the school board has proposed a plan to provide the funding Oakes Public School needs to address immediate and essential facility and infrastructure needs.

On March 14, district voters will be asked to consider a $14.84 million bond referendum to support essential investments to address critical building and infrastructure needs.

The community helped shape this plan, and residents will have the final say. We are committed to sharing information and resources to help residents make an informed choice on Election Day.
