Our Commitment to Our Students, Our School, and Our Future

Our district’s critical building needs are not going away.

Throughout the facilities planning process, the school board listened carefully to input from staff, students, and residents to determine the highest priorities and most urgent fixes for our school. Without new investment, the district cannot address challenges such as outdated and broken HVAC systems and windows, lack of accessible bathrooms in the high school, aging sewer pipes, and an undersized kitchen with 50-year-old appliances.

The district and school board are evaluating the next steps.

The district’s current budget is insufficient to address the full scope of repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance needed for the operation of our school. As we look to the future, we must work together to find a successful path forward. The school board is working to determine potential options, and this process will include input from our community.
